I have a few idea for posts but besides that I’m pretty much stumped so if any of you have any ideas or problems you need help with or advice plz tell me. Besides that, today Im gonna be telling you guys about books that I LOVE. There rated stars from 1-5. There are also warnings about inappropriate parts in the book cause I know that some parents check what their kids read. Enjoy!

Genre: Fantasy
Plot: Tris Prior lives in a futuristic world in which society is divided into five factions. As each person enters adulthood, he or she must choose a faction and commit to it for life. Tris chooses Dauntless — those who pursue bravery above all else. However, her initiation leads to the discovery that she is a Divergent and will never be able to fit into just one faction. Warned that she must conceal her status, Tris uncovers a looming war which threatens everyone she loves.

Genre: Realistic Fiction I think
Plot: Fifteen-year-old Vidya is coming of age during a time of political upheaval in the British colony of India. The youngest daughter of a Brahmin family, Vidya and her brother, Kitta, are brought up with a mixture of modern values and Hindu philosophical thought. Vidya and her family must move in to her grandfather’s home, with their extended family, after her father becomes brain damaged after a beating. There are different hierarchies in the home. Rules for how men and women interact with each other and rules for how women should behave.
Inappropriate Parts: Periods, Bad words that you probably won’t understand, a very brief raping scene (VERY short like 5 words), and abuse

What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on and off braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. This all happens over a period of 4 years!

Along for the Ride By Sarah Dessen
Genre: Realistic Fiction
Plot: Auden has agreed to spend the summer at her father’s beachfront home in the tiny town of Colby. Auden’s parents divorced several years ago and she is still smarting from it. Victoria West, Auden’s mother, is a beautiful, successful woman with a sharp tongue and an intellect to match. Her father, Robert West, is a rather nondescript man who is unable to set aside his own needs to help his wife care for a newborn. Auden gives in to her insomnia. Neither of her parents seem to notice that their daughter sleeps through the day and spends her nights reading and studying in local all-night coffee shops. Auden considers herself to be unusual until she meets someone with the same problem.

Plot: The main character whose name I forgot goes to the city to get a job to make money for her family but ends up being a prostitute. Very sad but interesting story.
